Hello Cottage Lovers! Cottage Neighborhood, established in 2007, has developed a strong presence online for house hunters searching for a cottage, craftsman or bungalow style home. Cottage Neighborhood started as a passion of mine, as I love Cottage & Craftsman style homes and struggled to find this style amongst all the others in more traditional online home hunting sites.
Who am I? My name is Shelly Fagin, I founded cottage neighborhood in 2007 and am a huge cottage & home design fanatic on top of being a mom of 4 beautiful children. Two girls, two boys – Tyler (f) – 10 years, Cohen (m) 5 years, Jack (m) 4 years and Dylan (f) 3years, yes, I know if sounds like I have 4 boys. I have been given the opportunity to work from home for the past several years completing various work in web development and internet marketing. I am also working towards a Computer Science degree at Harvard University through their extension program. My husband Brian and I relocated our family back to my home state of Iowa two years ago after Brian took leave from his job running a large Pottery Barn store due to the progression of his M.S. I love being back home, but miss that Pottery Barn discount.
