One Room School House in Iowa

I came across this one room school house outside of Decorah, Iowa and just had to share it with my Cottage Neighborhood readers. I don’t have much information about this adorable school house, but it does appear to be recently renovated. Whomever is responsible for this restoration deserves an applause. Totally adorable.

Amazing Bungalow Restoration in Houston Heights

I came across a wonderful company out of Houston that restores historic Bungalows, Craftsman’s and Cottage Style Homes in the Houston Heights Historic District. It is a prime real estate area for Houstonians, being just steps to the downtown metro area, so it is amazing to find people and company’s restoring these old treasures instead of tearing them down and building new.  Take a look at these amazing before and afters.
